How to Set Up a Mobile Hotspot
Setting up a mobile hotspot on your Samsung Android device allows you to share your mobile data connection with other devices. This guide will walk you through the steps to configure and customize your mobile hotspot settings.
Launch the Settings app on your Samsung device.
Scroll down and tap Network & internet.

In the Network & internet section, select Hotspot & tethering.

Tap on Wi-Fi hotspot to access the settings for your mobile hotspot.

On this page, you can toggle the hotspot feature on or off.
You can also customize your hotspot settings by changing

Network name (SSID)
- Security type
- Password

Once you've configured the settings to your liking, toggle on Use Wi-Fi hotspot to activate it.
Turn On Hotspot Using Quick Settings
Swipe down from the Home screen to open the Quick Settings menu.
Swipe down again to see more Quick Settings toggles.
Find the Hotspot toggle and tap on it to activate the mobile hotspot.
If you don't see the Hotspot toggle, tap the pencil icon to edit the Quick Settings and drag the Hotspot toggle into the active section.
