How to Turn On Wi-Fi Calling on Your Mobile Device
Wi-Fi Calling
Wi-Fi calling allows you to make phone calls over a Wi-Fi network instead of using your mobile carrier's network. This can be especially useful when you're in an area with poor cellular reception but have access to a strong Wi-Fi connection. Note: Some carriers may charge additional fees for Wi-Fi calling, so it's important to check with your mobile service provider for any potential charges.
Launch the Phone app on your device.
.
Tap the More option (usually represented by three dots or lines) in the top-right corner of the screen.
From the dropdown menu, tap Settings.
In the settings menu, tap Calls.
Tap Wi-Fi calling.
Toggle the switch to turn on Wi-Fi calling.
Once Wi-Fi calling is set up, you can make a call as you normally would.
When connected to Wi-Fi, you’ll see "Internet Call" or "Wi-Fi calling" appear on your notification screen to indicate that the call is being made over Wi-Fi.
If you're not connected to Wi-Fi, your calls will automatically switch to your mobile carrier’s network (if available).
